Physical exams are used as part of the hiring process to assess whether or not the applicant will be physically able to perform the job duties required for the position. Pre-employment physicals are especially important to protect both, the employee and the company, against work-related injuries. An employee that is not in good physical condition might not be the best candidate for a physically demanding job, and this can only be known after a physical exam has been done. We offer pre-employment physicals, post accident physicals, DOT physicals, school and sports physicals. Click here if you would like to set up an account.
We offer many options when it comes to drug testing. We work with many labs including Pactox, Quest, Alere and Medtox. Our drug tests include the following substances: marijuana, cocaine, opiates, methamphetamine, PCP, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, quaaludes, ecstacy/MDA and oxycodone/percoset.
As a certified MRO, we can provide results to you immediately after testing or we can send the sample out to the lab of you choice. We do drug testing for pre-employment, post accident, post injury, probable cause and random drug tests. Setting up an account for drug tests can be done in minutes, click here to let us know you’re interested.
A big component of occupational medicine includes keeping employees healthy while they work in contaminated places in industries such as construction, demolition, restoration and environmental compliance. Workers in these industries may be exposed to hazardous materials or “hazmat” such as asbestos and lead. It’s important to have a baseline before workers are exposed and then continue testing every few months to keep track of the exposure. A&C Urgent Care provides blood testing services for a wide range of hazardous materials including blood lead and ZPP.
Industrial medicine requires a wide variety of exams for different industries in order to protect worker’s safety. We service companies in industries such as environmental safety, construction, demolition, building restoration, etc. Often times, workers in these industries get exposed to various substances/chemicals and therefore, continuous tests are required. Our mobile clinic can provide services such as blood draws, TB tests, flu shots and more. If you require these services to be done on-site, let us know you’re interested by clicking here.
